Volunteers and community organizations help us provide important care so we can do more for our patients and their families. These devoted individuals and groups are an integral part of CHPC’s operations and remain our strongest advocates.
Many of our community fundraisers are conducted entirely by volunteers. Students learning about civic engagement help us in many ways throughout the year. A quilter’s guild donates quilts to our patients to give them love and warmth. A volunteer fixes small things around our building, or takes care of a pet so they can remain with their dying master. A social club in Dunkirk sends us the proceeds from their bell jar. The list is a long one.
There are many ways you can help Hospice continue to provide these essential services. Sometimes volunteers can even offer assistance in new ways we haven’t thought of yet. Whatever you interest, big or small, please call us to see what you can do.
