About Us

Mission & Organizational Information
Hospice Chautauqua County's mission is to provide education and comfort care for the end stages of life. Our medical professionals, staff and volunteers provide medical treatment to reduce pain and improve quality of life, as well as social services, pastoral and spiritual care, bereavement counseling and assistance with other sensitive matters.

Our Philosophy begins with our understanding that dying is the natural conclusion to the life cycle. Our Goals begin with providing the best possible and most compassionate service. We are an independent, charitable health care agency licensed by the New York State Health Department and certified by Medicare. View our New York State Health Department license Hospice Chautauqua County is a charitable 501(c)3 organization as defined by the Internal Revenue Service. Financial contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. We are governed by a 24-member volunteer board of directors representing diverse viewpoints and backgrounds.
